Chi-Town

We decided to take a trip just the two of us (before Furbug arrives) to Chicago to visit our very special friends, Dan & Mary. They have lived in the city for about 2 yrs now and we had not gone to visit them together as a couple. They have been such great friends and great supports to us, especially as we went through the 10 & 1/2 weeks apart. Mary came to visit me and Dan went to visit Adam in AZ - what a blessing both of those visits were!!! So, instead of putting off a long overdue visit to see them, we hopped on a plane and flew to the great flat lands!

It was Adam's first time in Chicago so we visited the downtown area, Navy Pier & Lake Michigan! It was a beautiful day for sight-seeing! And of course, let us not forget to mention that Adam was able to experience his first taste of true Chicago style pizza!!!!! It was hilarious to watch him enjoy every bite! :)

I do have to admit that we played some Dutch Blitz and I was not the ultimate champion....

:( Good Job though Dan for kicking my butt! After Furbug arrives I'll be back to my normal competitive self so you better watch out!!!!! :) ha-ha-ha!
