We're Traveling Fiends...

So, we made an express trip to Virginia last weekend. We were only there for about 20 hours, seven of which we slept (Thank you for your hospitality Tracy, Brian and Collin). Surprisingly enough, we were able to get in quite a bit of visiting, including a bagel breakfast with the Furry side of the family (who were not expecting to see us at all) and a homemade dinner and dessert with the Lane side of the family. Good food and good company...

The main reason we took the quick trip was to visit with our friends John and Mandy Lawson, who we hadn't seen in over a year. They were in Harrisonburg for a few days to visit family. For those of you who don't know John and Mandy, Jackie and I actually met through them at a Saturday night get together. Mandy played piano and sang in our wedding as well. John and Mandy are currently living in Colorado Springs, CO while John attends Nazarene Bible College. We spent a couple hours visiting with them over lunch. It was great to catch up with them. They are special friends and we miss spending time with them.
