Marriage Retreat...

We went on a marriage retreat with about 25 other couples from our church over the weekend. It was our first stay in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our hotel was nice. It was oceanfront and had multiple pools, both indoor and outdoor, as well as some hot tubs and a lazy river. We had a wonderful view from our room and we enjoyed sleeping with the door cracked so we could listen to the ocean as we fell asleep.

We spent time relaxing, eating, shopping and hanging out with other couples. We also were able to enjoy a walk on the beach, despite the wind and cooler temperatures. We made our drama debut acting in a small skit on Sunday morning during our group devotional time. We were nervous about getting up in front of everyone, but we got a lot of encouraging comments afterwards!

We love you all. Until next time...

I was there, either they did a great job acting, or Adam's a real jerk! It was funny either way!

Granddaddy and I used to go to Myrtle Beach quite often, celebrating our anniversary in November. We absolutely loved it, walking on the beach, (bundled up), ocean front room (they are cheap in the winter time), and like you all, we always left the door open so the waves would lull us to sleep. What great memories.
