Ringing in the New Year...

Jackie and I enjoyed ringing in the new year with my sister and her husband (Tina and Jason) and long-time friend of Jackie, Niki and her husband Mike. We spent a few days on the Outer Banks in Duck, NC. Special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Eckert for allowing us to use the "Little" house. Any time spent there is always a lot of fun, but when you're with friends and family it makes the time even better.

We played some games and did lots of laughing and relaxing. Jason and I were crazy enough to take a dip in the ocean on New Year's Eve.

We ate some good food while we were there as well. The girls whipped up some awesome homemade pasta, which served as our last meal of 2006. Good way to end the year...
