A Long Overdue Post...

We had some special visitors the weekend before last. Our friends Dan and Mary who moved to Chicago in the summer came to visit!

For those of you who haven't heard us talk about Dan and Mary, they headed up the small group that we've been active in since we got married. The small group is the biggest reason that we have been going to North Raleigh Church of the Nazarene. We've made lots of good friends through it, including Dan and Mary, who we miss quite a bit. We had a great time with them, catching up and literally laughing until our sides hurt.

On another note, today we got our first taste of winter weather here in North Carolina. Last winter, there was no snow or ice to speak of. We woke up this morning to about a half an inch on snow and ice on the ground, which around here is a big deal! Lots of schools are closed or at least delayed (yes, for a half an inch of snow!). People really freak out about it. Hopefully this will not be our only taste of snow this winter. Us Furrys are winter weather fans!

We love you all. Until next time...

This has been an extremely cold and windy winter, one I could have done without! And icy, we thought it would never melt. Remember Uncle Chris and Aunt Sanny always wanting snow? They don't whoop and shout anymore about it when it is predicted. Must be an age thing, you think? You both seem so happy with your church and the people there. What a blessing it is to know that your family is one that follows God's leading and teachings!! Grandma F.
