OBX!

Well, the OBX exceeded our expectations once again! We were invited to join the Elliott family on vacation in this beautiful home w/ an ocean front view 8 miles out on the sand! It was so weird to see 4-wheel drive vehicles driving around as though it was a normal road!!
We enjoyed all of the sights and smells that the ocean and beach provide - nothing beats the NC beaches! :) Wild horses are found in this area of Corolla, NC and they came right up to our front yard to eat some grass. They were very patient with us "tourists" who insisted on taking several pictures of them. They are beautiful animals.
We went on this trip only knowing 2 people and we left feeling as though we were a part of the whole group! We not only enjoyed the heated swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, fuze ball table, ocean waves (Jackie actually body boarded for the first time), and the sand but we enjoyed a lot of laughter while playing PIT, Dutch Blitz - yes Dan, I am still the queen of that game!, Boxers or Briefs, and Clue. Not to mention that we all ate like we were definitely on vacation and the Elliott family can cook up a mean meal and bake some awesome cookies! :)
We won't soon forget all the memories that were made and we thank the Elliott's for letting us be a part of it all.
