Kentucky Labor Day

Over Labor Day weekend, Adam and I took our last road trip to visit my sister Penny & her family (Bryan & Evan) in Lexington, KY. They are in the process of relocating to the Virginia area as Bryan will be taking a new pastoral position near Richmond. They are excited about this new venture but I know they will miss Lexington as it is a very cool city. Adam and I were also sad to leave since we are unsure of the next time we will have a need to visit KY.

We were, however, very happy to see our sweet nephew Evan! He has gotten so big and he is so handsome! Of course he has 2 beautiful parents so what do you expect?! :)

We enjoyed playing with Evan, visiting downtown, eating wonderful food at various places - our favorite meal was Penny & Bryan's gourmet pizza on the grill. Very good!

We are looking forward to seeing them in VA which will be a 3 hr trip compared to an 8 hr trip! :)
